Common Name The Santa Marta Epidendrum [Refers to the Nevada de Santa Marta]

Flower Size

Found in northern Colombia near the Nevada de Santa Marta at elevations around 1100 to 1300 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with simple, cane-like stems carrying many, erect-patent, ligulate, obtuse leaves that blooms in the late spring on a terminal, erect, racemose, peduncle to 4" [10 cm] long, somewhat laterally compressed, rachis paniculate, to 4" [10 cm] long, .subdensely many flowered inflorescence with triangular, minute, patent floral bracts.
