Found in Sao Paulo and Parana states of Brazil as a miniature sized, warm to cool, pendent growing epiphyte with branching, laterally compressed stems carrying, distichous, coriaceous, elliptic, recurved, conduplicate, acute to rounded apically leaves that blooms in the spring on a .28 to .4" [.7 to 1 cm] long, racemose, terminal, erect, peduncle enveloped by 2 bracts, 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence with membraneous, ovate, enveloping the pedicel and part of the flower floral bracts.
