Common Name The Pale Colored Epistephium

Found in Rio de Janiero state of Brazil as a large to giant sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect, robust, somewhat sinuous stem carrying coriaceous, distichous, elliptic-ovate, abruptly acute, 7 nerved, somewhat cordate and amplexicaul below into the base leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal and axillary, 2 to 2.4” [5 to 6 cm] long, successively 1 to 3, few flowered inflorescence with a small leaf-like floral bract and carrying magenta flowers with a purple lip.
