Found In Minas Gerais Brazil at elevations around 1000 meters as a large sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a brittle rhizome giving rise to a robust, somewhat sinuous stem carrying well spaced, coriaceous, elliptic-ovate, acute to acuminate, basally clasping, cordate base leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, 6” [15 cm] long, successively few, to 6, successively flowered inflorescence with very concave, ovate, acuminate, more or less shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying large, erect-patent flowers.
