Common Name The Sympodial Epidendrum

Found in Cauca department of Colombia at elevations around 2700 meters as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte with superposed, the main stem 3 to 5 leaved, erect-spreading, ligulate, obtuse leaves that bloooms on a terminal, erect, peduncle ancipitous, .8" [2 cm] long, with 2 acuminate bracts, rachis to 1.2" [3 cm] long, 5 to 8 flowered inflorescence with triangular-ovate, apiculate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying glabrous flowers.
