Common Name Valente's Epidendrum [Brazilian Professor and naturalist 2000's]

Found in Minas Gerais state of Brazil in quartzite rocky fields at elevations around 1300 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with cane-like, erect stems carrying 5, in the upper 3rd of the stem, alternate, sub-coriaceous, elliptic leaves that blooms at most anytime of the year on terminal, occuring on mature stems, rigid, pendent, congested, mostly simultaneously 4 to 6 flowered inflorescence with acuminate, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
