Found in the Philippines at elevations of 300 to 1300 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with erect to semi-pendulous, cylindrical, thickest in the middle stems enveloped by leafless and leaf bearing sheaths and carrying in the upper half, several, grasslike, acute, linear, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the late winter and spring on many, axillary, short to 1.6" [4 cm] long, 9 to 14 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts.
