Found in penninsular Malaysia and Borneo? in podosol forests at elevations around 150 to 700 meters as a small to just medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with thick, fleshy oblong pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 4, linear, obtuse narrowing below into the base leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, 7.2" [18 cm] long, to 15 flowered inflorescence with 4 to 8, large, creamy white, empty bracts in the lower third.
