Found in Sumatra at elevations around 1000 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a cylindrical, fleshy, branching rhizome with moderately distant, fleshy, stems carrying lanceolate, acuminate leaves that blooms on a shorter than the leaves, arising from the upper nodes, peduncle short, 2.5" [to 6.25 cm] long overall, finely hairy, 8 to 9 flowered inflorescence with spreading, dull green, oblong-elliptic floral bracts.
