Found in Java and New Guinea? in forests at elevations of 200 to 1000 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with club-shaped, close set stems carrying 2 to 5, near the apex of the stem, acute, rather fleshy, curled leaves that blooms in the winter on 1 to 6, short, densely many flowered inflorescence arising from near the apex of the pseudobulbs.
