Common Name The Reed-Like Leaved Ascidieria

Flower Size .2" [5 mm]

Found in Borneo in lower montane forests at elevations around 1200 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte or terrestrial with a stem enveloped by brown margined leaf sheaths carrying 3 to 5, distichous, sedge-like, linear, ligulate, acute to obliquely acute leaves that blooms in the fall .

CAUTION The photo above features a flower of Eria caricifolia var. glabra, to date I have not found a photo of the type variety.
