Found in northern and western Sumatra at elevations around 800 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with cauliform stems carrying 3, erect-patent, glabrous, elliptic-lanceolate, acuminate leaves that blooms in the fall on an as long as the leaves, 3.2 to 6.4" [8 to 16 cm] long, laxly many flowered inflorescence.
