Common Name The Compressed Eria

Found in Java and Sumatra at elevations of 1500 to 2000 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a hard and woody, elongate, erect becoming semi-pendulous stem carrying many, in the apical half, narrowly lanceolate, unequal and oblique apically leaves that blooms in the later spring on a lateral, often many, [6.7 to 10.8 cm] long, 3 to 10 flowered inflorescence with triangular ovate, yellow to light brown, acute floral bracts.
The plant and flowers in the photos is Eria compressa var. sumatrana.
