Found in southern Yunnan province of China, Myanmar and Thailand in forest margins on tree trunks at elevations of 1000 to 2000 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with terete, sometimes clavate apically stems carrying 3 to 4, lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the summer on a subterminal, white tomentose, 2 flowered inflorescence with yellowish-green, oblong-ovate, recurved floral bracts.
