Found in southeastern Yunnan province of China, Laos and Vietnam in open forests on trees at elevations of 1000 to 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with .16 to .35" [4 to 9 mm] betweeen each narrowly ovoid to nearly cylindric, wrinkled when dried pseudobulbs carrying 3 to 4, towards the apex, linear to narrowly elliptic-linear, papery, obtuse to sometimes obliquely apiculate, contracted below into a short petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late spring and summer on a subterminal, .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm] long, rachis nearly glabrous, 3 to 6 flowered inflorescence with oblong-lanceolat to elliptic floral bracts.
