Common Name or Meaning The Red Spotted Eria

Found in northern and western Sumatra at elevations of 1220 to 1700 meters as a medium to large sized, cool growing epiphyte with long and leafy stems carrying narrowly lanceolate, very uneven apically, narrowly acuminate leaves that blooms on an axillary, .8" [3.2 cm] long overall, spotted with scurfy fluff, rachis.48" [1.2 cm] long, 3 to 7 flowered inflorescence with convex, ovate, acuminate, fleshy floral bracts.
