Found on Mindoro and Panay Islands within the Philippines at elevations of 330 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with basally slightly swollen, cylindrical stems carrying linear-lanceolate, acuminate, acute, hairy leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on a opposite and shorter than the leaves densely reddish hairy, to 2" [5 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with broadly ovate, nearly round, hairy, abruptly acuminate floral bracts.
