Common Name or Meaning The Fire Red Eria

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm] wide

Found in northern Borneo in Podozol forests at elevations of 200 to 500 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with ovoid to oblong, clustered stems carrying 2 to 3, oblong-ligulate, obtuse to subacute, subsessile leaves that blooms in the spring on a subterminal, porrect to erect, 2.4 to 4.8" [6 to 12 cm] long, 6 to 8 flowered inflorescence with several basal bracts and oblong-elliptic, obtuse, deflexed, deep cinnabar-orange floral bracts.
