Found in Sumatra in montane forests at elevations around 1100 to 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing terrestrial with very small, almost globose pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, elliptic, shortly acuminate, narrowing below into the very short petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on an erect, thin, glabrous, 1" [2.5 cm] long, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
