Common Name The Wide Lipped Eria

Found in Thailand in moist rocky, hardwood forests on tree trunks and rocks at elevations around 150 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with ovate pseudobulbs carrying 3 lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the summer on a basal, erect, peduncle with large sheaths, to 4.8" [12 cm] long, rachis to 4.8" [12 cm long, 8 to 10" [20 to 15 cm] long overall, stiff, 10 to 12 flowered inflorescence with narrowly triangular, thin tomentose exterior floral bracts.
