Common Name The Smooth Leafed Eria

Flower Size 3/4" [1.9 cm]

Found in penninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Sumatra, Sulawesi & Maluku on lowland limestone hills, peat swamp forests and lower montane forests at elevations around 800 to 2000 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a creeping, brown, wooly-hairy, imbricate sheathed rhizome with basally swollen, gradually narrowing towards the apice and carrying 4, apical, lanceolate, unequally and obtusely bilobed, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter on a very short to .4" [1 cm], 2 to 3, successively single flowered, brown pubescent inflorescence arising from near the apex of the pseudobulb.
