Found in the Philippines at low elevations near sealevel as a small sized, hot growing terrestrial with stout rhizomes giving rise to ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 2, lanceolate to oblanceolate, acuminate leaves that blooms in the later summer and early fall on a terminal, stout, erect, more than 4" [10 cm] long, angled rachis, to 15 flowered inflorescence
