Found in Odisha India in semi evergreen moist montane forests at elevations of 1100 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with clavate-fusiform, laterally compressed pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 4, apical, elliptic-lanceolate, acuminate, narrowing below into the articulate sheathing base leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on 1 to 3, erect, subterminal, peduncla to .8" [2 cm] long, greenish white, rachis to 3.8" [9.5 cm] long, 10 to 16 flowered inflorescence with slightly longer than the ovary floral bracts.
