Common Name The Mentawai Eria [refers to the Mentawai Islands Regency, West Sumatra]

Found in the Mentawai Islands of western Sumatra at sea level to 200 meters as a small to medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with cylindrical, thickening slightly towards the apex stems carrying 3, near the apex, oblong-elliptic to lanceolate, acutely acuminate, narrowing towards the base leaves that blooms on 2, to 2.8" [7 cm] long, lax, to 13 flowered inflorescence with large, pale green floral bracts.
