Common Name Micholitz's Eria [German Orchid Collector in SE Asia 1800's]

Found in New Guinea in beach swamps and hot lowland forests at elevations of sea level to 500 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with erect, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, fleshy leaves and several foliaceous sheaths that blooms in the late spring through mid fall with a sharp edged, glabrous to 24" [60 cm] long, inflorescence carrying fragrant flowers.

CAUTION I cannot be sure of this determination so please use with caution!!!! According to Schlechter's drawing of 1912 the exterior parts of the flowers should be quitehairy.
