Found in southern India in moist-deciduous forests and semi-evergreen forests as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with disc-like pseudobulbs enveloped by a net like sheath carrying 2 to 3, deciduous, with the flowers, oblanceolate, acute to obtuse leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, slender, filiform, 1.2 to 3" [3 to 7.5 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence.
