Found in Lampung Sumatra at low elevations as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with almost globose to top-shaped, 2 noded, shiny green suffused with dull violet pseudobulbs carrying 1 to 2, erect, lanceolate, unequally bilobed apically, thick, fleshy, shiny reddish green, paler beneath with green stripes, narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leavevs that blooms in the winter and springon a longer than the leaves, peduncle .72" [1.8 cm] long, 2 bracted, rachis paler, hairy, to 2.8" [7 cm] longf, laxly many flowered inflorescence with reflexed, oblong, very obtuse, somewhat erose margined floral bracts and carrying slightly scented flowers
