Common Name or Meaning The Puguahaa Eria [A town in Leyte near where the orchid is found]

Found only in the Philippines at elevations of sealevel to 60 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with elongate, branched, compact pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 3, linear-lanceolate, leaves that blooms in the late winter through early summer on a terminal, racemose, shorter than the leaves, 3,2 to 6" [8 to 15 cm] long, wooly white pubescent, several flowered inflorescnece with papery bracts and lanceolate floral bracts.
