Found on Ambon Island of the Moluccas as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a stout creeping rhizome giving rise every 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm] to club shaped pseudobulbs carrying 5 to 6 leaves that blooms in the summer on 4 to 6, drooping, 4.8" [12 cm] long, many flowered [90] inflorescence.
