Found in Sumatra in montane forests and farmlands on branches of trees at elevations of 700 to 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with 1.2" [3 cm] between each cylindrical, slightly flattened psuedobulbs carrying 2 to 3, apical, narrowly lanceolate, narrowed apically to obliquely bidentate, acute apex leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on several, short to .8" [2 cm] long, dense, globose to cylindrical, pubescent, 2 to 4, flowered inflorescence.
