Found only in western Sumatra at elevations of 900 to 1000 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with close set, club-shaped, flattened slightly above stems carrying about 4, linear, almost terete, incurved margins form a channel, fleshy leaves that blooms on a cylindrical, terete, pubescent, rachis angled, peduncle to .52" [1.3 cm] long, 3" [7.5 cm] long overall, densely many flowered inflorescence carrying non-resupinate, sweetly fragrant flowers
