Found in Thailand at elevations around 450 to 750 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with erect, clustered, often in distinct rows, conical to conical ovoid, 2 noded pseudobulbs carrying 4 or so, towards the apex, linear to linear lanceolate, acute basally clasping leaves that blooms on an erect, brown pubescent, peduncel .2" [.5 cm] long, rachis to .4" [1 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence with yellow to light brown floral bracts.

Clearly related to E concolor and E acervata but differs in the shape of the lip which is close to E trilophota but it has larger flowers without a purple lip and pedicel which this one has.
