Found in Hong Kong and Hainan China as well as India? on rocks and trees usually with mosses at elevations under 500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte or lithophyte with subglobose pseudobulbs enveloped by thin, membraneous sheaths and carrying 2 to 3, apical, spathulate-oblong to subobovate, membraneous, acute and apiculate apically, cuneate basally leaves that blooms in the fall on a very slender, arising from the apex of the pseudobulb, glabrous, .08" [2 mm] long, racemose, 1 to 2 flowered inflroescence with ovate bracts
Very similar to E pusilla and often cited as a synonym of, but, E sinica differs in the shorter sepals and petals.
