Found in Sumatra and Java at elevations around 1100 to 1520 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial or epiphyte with close set, robust, elliptic in cross-section, shiny pale green stems carrying up to 9, strap-shaped, apically narrowing and obliquely bilobed, dull dark green leaves that blooms in the winter on up to 5, terminal, densely many flowered, reddish brown minutely pubescent, 20 3/4" [52 cm] long, pale green inflorescence with triangular, acute floral bracts..
