Found Malaysia, Java, Sumatra and Borneo at elevations up to 1700 meters as a large to giant sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with emering horizontal but becoming pendulous, elongate, leafy throughout stems carrying narrowly lanceolate, gradually narrowing towards the apex leaves that blooms on many, arising from nodes along the leafy stem, each 2 to 6 flowered inflorescence has triangular, acute floral bracts.
