Common Name The Small Warty Eria [refers to the rough back surface of the sepals]

Found in Java at elevations of 1200 to 1500 meters as a giant sized, pendant and cool growing epiphyte with elongate, pendulous apically stems enveloped completely by old leaf-bearing sheaths and carrying in the apical 16" [40 cm] portion, linear-lanceolate, narrower in the apical half, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the spring on a very short, single flowered inflorescence holding the flower close to the stem.
