Found in New Guinea at elevations around 200 meters as a giant sized, hot growing epiphyte with elongate, flexuous, minutely puberulis,densely leafy stems carrying erect-patent, linear-lanceolate, obliquely subacute, glabrous leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on lateral, shoret, single flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute, glabrous floral bracts.
