Common Name The Amazonas Eriopsis [A department of southeastern Colombia]

Found in Amazonas department of Colombia in flooded forests at elevations around 30 meters as a large sized, hot growing epiphyte with cylindrical, apically trifoliate pseudobulbs carrying leathery, oblanceolate to subspathulate, acute, attenuate towards the base leaves that blooms in the summer on a basal, to 16" [40 cm] long, laxly several flowered inflorescence carrying yellow with rose-maroon marginss, whitish distally and somewhat purple spotted flowers.
