Common Name The Broad Leafed Erythrodes

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in Malaysia, Sumatra and Java at elevations of 600 to 1800 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with 8 ovate, crisped margins; acuminate, the leaf halves very unequal, gradually narrowing into the petiolate elongate base leaves held in the basal third of the stem that blooms in the early spring on and erect, basally green becoming red to red brown, pubescent, to 14.8" [37 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with 4, spaced out, sterile bracts and with lanceolate, acute floral bracts.
