Common Name The Ochobi Erythrorchis [The Type is from Taiwan, I can't find the connection to Ochobi???]

Found in Japan, The Ryukyus, Taiwan, Assam, Eastern Himalayas, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Java, Malaysia and the Philippines as a large sized, hot growing mycoheterotrophic terrestrial that blooms in the spring

This terrestrial species was photographed in situ in Northern Thailand 6/01.

Kew gives this species as a synonym of E cassythoides but I have left them separate pending better references.
