Found In Malaysia, Sumatra and Java in light forests at elevations of 200 to 1200 meters as a medium sized [in flower], hot to cool growing terrestrial with more or less 6, in the basal third of the stem, well spaced, ovate, apiculate, petiolate base [usually less than .8" [2 cm] long, leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, to 6" [15 cm] long, peduncle, the rachis to 2.8" [7 cm] long, 8.8" [22 cm] long overall, more or less to 10 flowered inflorescence.
