Common Name The Great Eulophia - In the Philippines - Damong Dapo or Grass Orchid
Flower Size 2" [5 cm] long
Found in Java, Borneo, the Lesser Sunda Islands, Sulawesi and the Philippines in tall grasslands at elevations of near sea level to 1400 meters as a large sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial with subterranean pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, narrowly lanceolate, plicate, narrowing basally leaves that blooms in the winter, spring and summer on an erect, rachis to 6" [15 cm] angular, to 30" [75 cm] long overall, to 15 flowered inflorescence.
