Found in eastern Madagascar on hills at unknown elevations as a medium sized terrestrial with corm shaped pseudobulbs carrying, grasslike, narrow, acute leaves that blooms on an erect, 20 to 28" [50 to 70 cm] long, 20 to 25 flowered inflorescence
