Common Name Macaulay's Eulophia

Found in Angola and Zambia in miombo and Brachystegia woodlands on sandy solis and on rock outcrops at elevations of 1000 to 1500 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with pseudobulbous, partial above the ground, conical, several noded, close set perranating organs giving rise to 3 to 5, in a tuft, narrowly linear, acute, starting to develop at blooming leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, to 35 cm] long, laxly several flowered inflorescnece with linear-lanceolate, acuminate shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying spreading, nodding, sweetly scented, yellow to yellow green flowers with a more or less purple veined lip.
