Common Name Macowan's Eulophia [English Chemist and Botanist early 1900's]

Found in Cape Province and Natal in coastal grasslands in full sun at elevations close to sea level as a small to medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with slightly leathery, usually spreading leaves that blooms in the later spring and early summer on an erect, terminal, to 10" to 16" [25 to 40 cm] long, 4 to 20 flowered inflorescence and carrying non-resupinate flowers
