Common Name The Obtuse Eulophia

Flower Size 2.4 t0 2.6" [6 to 6.5 cm]

Found in Assam, Bangladesh, India, Nepal and the western Himalayas in swampy areas as a large to giant sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with horizontal, oblong, hypogeal tubers giving rise to an erect stem carrying 2 to 3, linear, acuminate, plicate leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, to 60" [150 cm] long, peduncle with a few acuminate sheaths, laxly 6 to 10 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts and carrying campanulate flowers that are bright yellow on the outside and lemon yellow on the inside.
