Common Name The Slim-Petaled Eulophia

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in central Bhutan on dry hills at elevations around 1800 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial orchid with irregular pseudobulbs and an erct, ridged, 8 to 14" [20 to 35 cm] long, with clasping, distant, ovate-lanceolate, acute to acuminate sheaths and carrying 2, linear, plicate leaves that blooms in the fall in cultivation and spring in nature on a terminal, .8 to 2.4" [2 to 6 cm] long, racemose, laxly 5 to 8 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts..
