Common Name The Three Lamina Eulophia

Found in Zaire, Angola, Malawi, Zambia and Tanzania in perrenially wetpeat bogs at elevations of 590 to 1350 meters as a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with subterreanean, irregularily conical, flattened, chain forming tubers giving rise to 1 to 3, erect, linear, acuminate, ribbed, grass-like, present at flowering leaves that blooms in the mid spring through summer on an erect, secund, 12 to 36" [30 to 90 cm] long, laxly few to 13 flowered inflorescence almost enveloped completely by 4 to 6 scarious bracts and lanceolate, acuminate, much longer than the ovary floral bracts carrying pale pink to lilac to almost white flowers with purple pappilae on the lip.
