Common Name Cogniaux's Eurystyles [Belgian Botanist in Brazil early 1800's]

Flower Size .08" [2 mm]

Found in Minas Gerais state of Brazil at elevations of 1000 to 1500 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a basal rosette of a few basal, dark green, oblanceolate to elliptic, acuminate, crisped margined, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring on a pendent, 2.4” [6 cm] long, 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence with a few remote, large, inflated, lanceolate bracts.
