Common Name Lorenz' Eurystyles [Gernman Botanist mostly in Argentina 1800's]

Flower Size .25" [.65 cm]

Found in central and southeastern Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul states of Brazil in deep shade on tree trunks and branches in high humidity at elevations around 1300 to 1600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with 2 to 4, light green, shiny, elongate-oval, acute leaves held in a rosette that blooms in the summer on a pendulous, .8" [2 cm] long, densely pilose, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
